Paffy is Social Distancing...

This year, we’ve teamed up with the local chapter of Heirs to Our Oceans (H2OO), a youth-driven organization dedicated to changing how we see and use single-use products that negatively impact our oceans and our future.

H2OO will be represented in a booth at this year’s festival, offering information about their mission and our individual impact.  They will also be selling reusable cutlery for guests ready to commit to the cause.   Funds raised by the Heirs will go toward efforts to make Pescadero Schools eco-friendly.

While it’s a bit late in the game to apply big changes in 2018, we’re taking action and making the commitment to do better.  The Pescadero Arts and Fun Festival invites YOU to take baby steps with us at this year’s event.  Bring your own reusable utensils or purchase them from the Heirs Booth.

In making greener choices for the Festival, The PAFF Staff is encouraging our vendors to help us reduce the availability of single-use plastics and greenwashed alternatives (PLAs).

-We’re providing #BottlesForTheBands instead of single-use water bottles for our entertainers.
-We’re improving our trash and recycling efforts.
-We’re encouraging our vendors to explore eco-friendly options.
-We’re Asking YOU to come prepared to reduce your single use!
